This team is for registered riders in the Hershey's Tour de Pink, even though the ride doesn't begin until October 3rd, we'll all be putting in lots of miles training for the big event ... keep track of your progress here. Let's see how many miles we can do between May 1st and October 2nd when we arrive in Hershey, PA, for orientation.
The 5th annual, four-day, 200+-mile Hershey's Tour de Pink will take place October 2-6. Sponsored by The Hershey Company, 150 riders will ride from Chocolate World in Hershey, PA, and arrive at the finish line in New York City the morning of Monday, October 6.
Hershey's Tour de Pink benefits the Young Survival Coalition (YSC), the premier international network of breast cancer survivors and supporters dedicated to the critical concerns and issues unique to young women and breast cancer. Through action, advocacy and awareness, the YSC seeks to educate and influence the medical, research, breast cancer, and legislative communities to address breast cancer in women 40 and under, and to serve as a point of contact for young women living with breast cancer. All riders will raise at least $2,500 each for the YSC. One-hundred percent of the money riders raise goes to the YSC. To learn more about the YSC, please visit www.youngsurvival.org.
